When Is the Next Cat Songs Concert? This Weekend... For Some

Napping on new song #catsMew

You see the kitty on the Irish Pub Songs Companion album cover? That's Tabby. Yeah, I know she's not a tabby cat... Anyway, Marc told me that she recently passed on to Catnipping Green. Her two sisters Willow and Aurora just passed too. Our purrs go out to Patty and Deb.

As much as I loved to fight with my brother Tizi when he was here, it was tough to lose him. He had character and gumption. Traits you don't see in all cats... or humans for that matter.

But they are on to a better place. With catnip, lots of furniture to scratch, a water fawcett that's always dripping fresh water... and maybe a touch of beer with milk. Purrr.

I think I'll go lie next to Marc's computer, listen to some cat songs, and purr along.

"Yes, I love to drink... Yes, I love my cats... now I love my CD! What could be better than sitting around drinking (milk) with your cats on a crisp fall day? Why, sitting around drinking with your cats while listening to Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers, of course!"

ABOUT THE DUBLINERS' TABBY CATS

The Celtic Cat Lover's newsletter from Torre Gunn, one of the founders of the Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers hit music series. In loving memory of Tiziano.

Torre is a tabby cat and lead meower. Jenga is a large tuxedo cat. Rainy is beautiful Siamese princess. They own a simple-minded human named Marc Gunn, a Celtic geek musician and podcaster who writes cat songs.

The main reason they bother to keep him around is because he entertains them now and then and isn't too hard to take care of. They all perform together with The Dubliners' Tabby Cats.
